<span>According to the "English Curriculum Reform for Compulsory Education (2022 Edition)" formulated by Ministry of People's Republic China, nature and orientation compulsory education are combined with emphasis on adjusting optimizing curriculum cultivate socialist builders successors comprehensive development moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic skills. This paper focuses problems low level content a single form literary elements in junior high school English textbooks lack existing current textbooks. The study also aims find out actual usage among front-line teachers students through questionnaires interviews, summarize presentation el</span><span>ements three editions, analyze their shortcomings comparison, learn from supplement each other.</span>
